This position can sit in the San Francisco or Palo Alto office.

The Paralegal Team performs a wide range of substantive case, matter and entity related duties by supporting our attorneys, clients, outside legal counsel, opposing legal counsel, and vendors.

Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma
  • One year of office experience
  • Basic knowledge in MS Word and Excel

Preferred Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree and/or a paralegal certificate highly preferred
  • 1 year of experience in a law firm supporting paralegals and/or attorneys
  • Experience supporting a corporate practice group
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention-to-detail
  • Proficient in MS Outlook
  • Database experience

What will your day look like?
You will prepare binders, closing books, stock certificates, warrants and option grants, make copies, enter data and maintain ledgers and files.  You will manage and maintain electronic data rooms.  You will assist with preparing a variety of documents, forms, charts, letters, etc.  You will perform database research and data entry.  You will also assist with corporate closings and obtain documents and other information from cities, municipalities or public agencies. You will assist paralegals and attorneys with mailing and filing.  Finally, you will research public records using public websites.
