Case Assistant - Finance

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Basic knowledge in MS Word and Excel

Preferred Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree and/or a paralegal certificate highly preferred
• 1-year experience in a law firm supporting paralegals and/or attorneys
• Experience supporting a finance practice group
• Excellent organizational skills and attention-to-detail
• Proficient in MS Outlook
• Database experience

What will your day look like?

Your typical day will be spent supporting attorneys and paralegals in all facets of our financial transactions. You will maintain corporate documents, create and update databases and electronic data rooms used to organize, deliver and manage projects and related information.
You will conduct UCC searches, prepare and file UCCs, and assist with searches and electronic filings. You will organize documents for paralegal or attorney review and assist with preparing a variety of documents, forms, charts, letters, etc. You will research public records using public websites and assist in transaction closings, including creating and maintaining closing document lists and closing binders.

You will also be responsible for preparing signature packages, due diligence binders, stock certificates, warrants and option grants, and maintenance of ledgers and files.
