Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma
  • 2 years’ of legal or administrative experience in a client service related environment 
  • Proficient in MS Office products and database searches
  • Strong organizational skills, and attention to detail 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines 

Preferred Requirements: 
  • BA/BS degree
  • Experience in a law firm or professional services environment
  • Experience with Elite Enterprise or Legal Key and/or business process management software 

What will your day look like?

Your role as a Conflicts team member will include conducting database searches to analyze client matter data and identify potential conflicts between current and pending DLA clients. You will communicate regularly with attorneys, secretaries, our Accounting Department, and New Business Intake regarding open, pending and closing matters. Any discrepancy will be condensed and summarized for review by the Conflicts Group which will be used to begin the clearing process, which will require you to prepare waiver letters, follow screening procedures per client/attorney requirements. You will also update and maintain records, and provide real-time support and quality control to Conflicts Assistants as needed.
