Director - Data Analytics

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Information systems, Applied Math, Business Administration, or related field
• 10 years’ experience working in senior level data management roles with a proven track record of data analytics team management and data strategy implementation 
• 5 years’ experience working with technologies and concepts to process and analyze large unstructured and structured data sets; business intelligence and data warehousing concepts and technologies; and data governance 
• Experience in scripting languages including, for example, SQL, Python, R, visualization, and analysis tools
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of predictive modeling tools and languages
• Strong leadership and communication skills 

Preferred Requirements:

• Master’s Degree
• PowerBI

What will your day look like?
We are seeking a highly talented Director of Data Analytics who will provide thought leadership and act as a subject matter expert in the designing and recommending of appropriate analytical approaches and methodology to address key issues with the business. This position will lead the data analytics and data warehousing effort in research, development, and implementation of appropriate data systems that lead to improved business performance and achievement of overall business goals.

You will lead the development of measurement framework with the accounting and finance leadership to define the business KPI’s and implement tools and techniques to appropriately measure and report these KPI’s.  You will manage the data analytics process for the firm. Work with business stakeholders to identify data insights and trends to improve business performance and enable proactive decision making. 

Additionally, you will implement formal data governance approach and increase the maturity of the enterprise data capability and environment. You will design, implement, and expand data strategies and systems.
