Expense Management Analyst
Minimum
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance,
Business Administration or Accounting
- 2 years of experience preparing,
maintaining, and analyzing various budgets
- Experience tracking data and
preparing standard and ad-hoc reports
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
worksheet development and maintenance
- Working knowledge of accounting
systems
- Excellent written and verbal
communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills to
accurately track large volumes of data
What will
your day look like?
You will be responsible for reviewing all purchase requests
for assigned areas to ensure proper general ledger coding and budget capacity. You
will also process all invoices for assigned areas and review for accuracy.
You
will contact vendors directly to discuss discrepancies with invoices and
charges billed. You will also work with Chiefs, Directors, and Managers of
assigned areas for annual budget planning while monitoring spend and delivering
monthly variance reports.
In addition, you will support strategic sourcing, commodity monitoring and
general cost performance while identifying areas for cost reduction and
operational improvement.
