Minimum Requirements:
What will your day look like?
You will be responsible for analyzing all aspects of multi-million expense and capital expenditure program for administrative teams (i.e., CIO, CFO, COO, etc.)
- 5 years of experience in a law firm, professional services’ firm or blue chip organization with a focus on expense management
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting
- Proficient with software packages such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ERP
- Strong record of collaboration with business operations, particularly IT, and working across functional areas to articulate financial priorities and influence decisions to improve financial results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
What will your day look like?
You will be responsible for analyzing all aspects of multi-million expense and capital expenditure program for administrative teams (i.e., CIO, CFO, COO, etc.)
You will proactively identify cost savings opportunities across the organization and work directly with group Chiefs to explain variances to budget and prior year results, and develop budget and forecasts for the groups, including bottoms up expense drivers and detailed documentation of assumptions. You will also assist with year-end cost planning to reach year-end target profit, and develop and produce reporting to support monthly close and annual planning processes.
In addition, you will perform ad-hoc analysis as needed for new initiatives, cost anomalies and to identify cost savings opportunities, and asses and recommend improvements to expense controls that will support increased profitability, assist with process improvement initiatives related to the annual planning process, including evaluating new software, workflow, communication and training.
