HR Generalist
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- 3 years’ experience in Human Resources or related field
- Strong in Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Requirements:
- Legal or professional services environment
- Experience working in PeopleSoft
- Proficient knowledge in MS Office
- Good organizational skills
- Detail oriented and multi-tasking skills
- Client focused
What will your day look like?
Your daily responsibilities will include managing, planning, directing, and coordinating the HR functions of the organization serving as a link between the firm and its employees in the areas of HR operations, employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and benefits. You will address and resolve routine employee-relations issues, and complex matters in collaboration with your manager, as appropriate and provide coaching and consultation to firm lawyers, managers and staff in regard to the interpretation of HR programs, practices and policies and ensure compliance with federal, state and local legislation. You will also have opportunities to work on HR projects and initiatives.
