Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Five years’ experience in Human Resources with core generalist experience
  • Two years’ supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws, rules, and regulations
  • Methods and techniques in specialty areas including but not limited to FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OFCCP, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Title VII.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR and/or SHRM-CP) designation
  • Two years' HR manager experience in a large law firm setting
  • Ability to effectively communicate adherence to established policies in a matrixed departmental structure 
  • Ability to relate to people of various ethnic, cultural, and geographic persuasions
  • Ability to gather, analyze and utilize data in the delivery of HR services
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft HRMS
  • Knowledge of GA and Puerto Rico laws, rules, and regulations
  • Fluent in Spanish (written and verbal)
What will your day look like?
Your day will be spent managing, planning, directing, and coordinating the HR functions of the organization—serving as a link between the firm and its employees. You will provide coaching and consultation to firm lawyers, managers, and staff in regard to the interpretation of HR programs, practices, and policies. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legislation. Working closely with the Sr. HR Manager, Director, and General Counsel, you will be responsible for employee relations, including the identification of exceptional solutions, recommendations for resolution, oversight of communications, follow-up, and monitoring outcomes.
