Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2 years’ experience with learning and development, preferably in a technology-related role
  • 2 years’ experience developing strategies and instructional technologies serving employees across the firm
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and eLearning authoring tools, such as Captivate, Camtasia, and Articulate
  • Strong technical skills and ability to ramp up understanding of legal applications

Preferred Requirements:
  • Project management experience
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Experience working with a learning management system
  • Experience staging, shooting, and editing live action video
  • Capable of performing tasks not specifically identified in the job description, such as assuming new responsibilities as the needs of the department change
  • Flexibility to work overtime or irregular hours to complete certain tasks as needed

What will your day look like?
Your main objective is to develop and deliver learning solutions to all employees of the firm, covering various technologies in use at the firm. A typical day will be spent developing and maintaining eLearning, seeking out and utilizing methods to engage our employees with effective and entertaining learning experiences. You will meet with subject matter experts or IT projects teams. Occasionally, you will deliver instructor-led training in the form of webinars and in-person classroom training. You may travel as needed to other offices within the firm. You will interact with internal clients, provide support and advice to other IT teams and other departments, and assist with administrative and operational responsibilities of the team, as needed.

You will be responsible for handling confidential and non-routine information in a professional and trustworthy manner. You will represent the IT department in various user and project meetings, and maintain a current technical knowledge of adult learning strategies and trends.
