Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal certificate
  • 3 years experience as a Paralegal
  • Strong skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with legal software such as Relativity, LexisNexis, Westlaw or
    similar applications
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills required to interact with staff, paralegals, attorneys and clients on a daily basis
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required to handle large volumes of work associates with each matter
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment


What will your day look like? 
As a IP Patent Paralegal Corporate you will complete standard U.S. trademark and patent application filings. You will complete individual or limited group foreign filing programs, including legalization of documents. You will assist with supervised prosecution work on all U.S. and foreign applications. 

Additionally, you will handle assignments and post registration filings for U.S. registrations while also handling U.S. filings for foreign based clients.  You will keep clients apprised of the status of marks and patents and manage data rooms and matter files.

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements 
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
