IT eLearning Specialist
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
in Computer Science or related field
- 4 years’ experience
with IT training and development
- 2 years’ experience
developing strategies and technologies that instruct and educate employees
across the firm
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and financial software applications
- Strong technical skills and an understanding of legal applications
Preferred Requirements:
- Ability to develop user training for current or new applications
- Good organizational skills and
ability to prioritize
- Capable of performing tasks not specifically
identified in the job description, such as assuming new responsibilities
as the needs of the department change
- Flexibility to work overtime or irregular hours to complete certain tasks as needed
What
will your day look like?
Your main objective is to develop and deliver
technology training and support to all employees of the firm. A typical day
will be spent developing and maintaining instructor-led curriculum courses and
materials, delivering training via classroom, webinars, seminars, roundtables,
distance learning, etc., travel as needed to other offices within the firm,
interacting and providing support to other IT teams and other departments, and
schedule/coordinate new hire training, both locally and firm-wide.
You will be responsible for handling confidential and
non-routine information in a professional and trustworthy manner. You will
represent the IT department in various user and project meetings, and maintain
a current technical knowledge of adult learning strategies and trends.
