IT Services Supervisor

What will your day look like?
You will be responsible for tracking the progress of service technicians in the resolution of technical problems that affect the end user. You will provide technological support and service to employees and clients, monitor and maintain the problem ticket queue, by distributing tasks as required in order to keep workflow organized and completed in a professional and timely fashion. You will update management and other IT Support groups of specific issues that may arise and follow-up regularly to ensure resolution, participate in a variety of IT-specific projects and assignments, provide training and direction to IT Technicians, and coordinate troubleshooting efforts between service technicians and other groups in the department.
Your primary goal is to plan, coordinate, and direct the actions of service technicians in support of the end user community, and collaborate with managers and supervisors of other IT groups to escalate and resolve issues.

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
- Six years’ experience in providing end-user support to include resolving difficult IT problems
- Two years supervisory experience in an IT environment
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Knowledge of software, hardware, operating systems, diagnostic and repair techniques
- Ability to prioritize work and complete projects and assignments in a timely manner
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
