Land Use Planner

Minimum Requirements:

• College degree and/or Paralegal certificate
• 8 years’ experience in a law firm setting supporting a Real Estate practice group
• Experience requesting public records from public agencies, filing project applications and effectuating permits in specific jurisdictions
• Experience drafting findings and project descriptions, researching code sections, and reviewing environmental documents (EIR/MND).
• Experience managing the Municipal Lobbying Ordinance reporting process, assist with the entitlement process and transitional housing entitlement projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated

Preferred Requirements:

• Legal software 
• Large firm experience 

What will your day look like?
Your day will be spent performing a range of substantive case, matter or entity related duties by supporting efforts between attorneys, clients, outside legal counsel, opposing legal counsel, other parties, and outside vendors.

Some of the work you will be responsible for includes preparing and filing legal UCC Financing Statements, Articles of Incorporation/Organization, annual reports, managing data rooms and matter files, coordinating execution and delivery of documentation to other parties’ counsel, lenders, governmental agencies, etc., including all closing documentation. You will also develop, monitor and update closing and other checklists.
