Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • 3 years’ experience providing administrative support in a professional office
  • Hands-on experience with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Outstanding written and oral communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail


Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 year of experience providing support in a professional services environment
  • Experience using pivot tables and other advanced analytics


What will your day look like?

In this role, you will support Legal Recruiting in lateral hiring, student recruiting, and the summer association program. You will attend hiring committee meetings and additional office-wide committees. You will coordinate all necessary activities related to the life cycle of a candidate. This will include maintaining candidate data in the firm’s applicant tracking system, coordinating interviews, and preparing offer letters.

You will assist with the summer associate program by monitoring the assignment database, work product files, and evaluations. You will coordinate social events by creating invitations and working with outside vendors.

You are responsible for organizing and distributing materials pertaining to on-campus recruiting. You will coordinate with interviewers and career services regarding registrations, required materials, and schedules. You will assist with follow-up at the conclusion of an interview day, submit your recommendations to various offices, and coordinate feedback to candidates.

You are responsible for monitoring budgets and expenses, maintaining hiring statistics, and monitoring student reimbursements and travel costs. You will assist with the orientation and integration of summer associates and lawyer hires. You will be a liaison for lateral hires in regard to benefits, start dates, relocation, bar registrations, etc.
