Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
  • 4 years’ experience in litigation technology support to include the installation, configuration and maintenance of applications such as Relativity, Concordance, LiveNote, CaseMap and Sanction
  • Experience with electronic evidence, large-scale printing, document repositories, electronic filing, and extranet technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with staff and attorneys on a daily basis
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a variety of projects and initiatives
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues using technology
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations and deal successfully with conflict
  • Ability to exercise sound independent judgment under minimal direct supervision
  • Project leadership experience

 

What will your day look like?
As a Litigation Support Project Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for case team (attorneys, paralegals and vendors) for matters that employ litigation support tools and services, which will provide a more consistent and streamlined communication throughout the life of a matter. You will attend case strategy meetings, provide regular status updates and oversee work done by analysts assigned to a case. You will advise case teams on electronic discovery, hard copy scanning, and database services including in-house and out-sourced vendor services. You will run project design meetings for litigation teams of attorneys, paralegals, clients, and vendors (when appropriate), which may include serving as the liaison with vendors for the collection, processing, review, and production of data maintained in external repositories. You will create case plans consistent with the goals and objectives of the project having regard to innovative technical solutions, value management, cost-effectiveness, functional efficiency, and internal customer satisfaction.  You will establish and update plans and forecasts as well as manage deviations from the plan. 


You will also create and manage case budgets, provide monthly budget reports for all cases, and process all vendor invoices. You will set the expectations of the case teams, manage the timeliness of vendor services and monitor negotiated schedules and budgets. You will write Requests for Proposals to vendors, analyze vendor proposal responses, and makes recommendations to case teams. You will also advise legal teams on database design in conjunction with the assigned database analyst.
