Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 5 years' of D&I, professional development, or programming design and implementation experience in a professional services environment
  • 5 years' of team/employee management experience
  • Law firm experience 
  • 3 years' of project management, data interpretation experience which includes responsibility for defining project scope and goals, creating project schedules and timelines, vendor selection, and tracking deliverables
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong technology skills
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills to include PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to manage several key initiatives and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced corporate environment

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Marketing, and professional communications, production, and social media experience 
  • Experience in strategic planning and/or change management 

 

What will your day look like?
In this position you will manage various internal D&I training programs, including leadership, firmwide, and employee resource group programs – working with presenters, vendors, developing agendas, and managing program logistics.  You will enhance diversity & inclusion education efforts by supporting the development and facilitation of new workshops, training, tools, and resources.


You will manage internal and external pipeline programs and recruits and manages the firm’s undergraduate internship program focused on delivering a robust experience for diverse rising seniors who have an interest in attending law school. You will work closely with Employee Resource Group leaders to provide strategic guidance and track progress. You will collaborate with senior D&I leaders, as well as with other cross-functional program managers to facilitate the effective implementation of D&I strategic initiatives and special projects. You will create clear, action-oriented project plans and drives the team to project milestones and on-time, on-budget delivery. You will craft many, multiple internal communications and work closely with Marketing and Communications teams to produce internal articles, reports, presentation decks, and marketing collateral.  


You will develop and support informal mentor program within affinity groups and summer programs and works with Professional Development to monitor and measure the success of mentorship-type programs such as assisting local D&I committees in establishing pilot programs or providing advice on best practices. You will analyze and review quotes and contracts from various vendors and performs cost analyses against budget and be responsible for managing internal programming and pipeline budgets.
