Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 5 years' of project management, data interpretation, which includes responsibility for defining project scope and goals, creating project schedules and timelines, vendor selection, and tracking deliverables
  • 4 years' of employee management experience 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong technology skills
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills to include PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to manage several key initiatives and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced corporate environment

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Marketing, and professional communications, production, and social media experience 
  • Experience in strategic planning and/or change management is desirable


What will your day look like?
In this position, you will manage the firm’s responses to RFPs/RFIs, client, organization, and internal requests for D&I data. You will lead the team responsible for interpreting both quantitative and qualitative data used in D&I data responses and ensures the quality, accuracy of all deliverables containing D&I data, and track survey due dates to ensure surveys are submitted in a timely and accurately. You will help develop, analyze, and interprets metrics that support our firmwide inclusion strategy and develops preliminary conclusions and recommendations to aid the preparation of executive-level briefings, and prepares various reports and presentations for clients, internal committees, department leaders, and firm management. You will utilize strong project management, business acumen, client service, and communication skills to develop collaborative relationships with colleagues, key departments, lawyers, and clients and connects with key departments throughout the firm to request and gather information needed to complete surveys. You will draft, review, and edits content, external communications and works closely with Marketing, Communications, and Pitch teams to produce content, external-facing articles, and compelling news stories. You will manage D&I content refreshes and content library.


You will help to determine and support firm strategy around the external pipeline and diversity recruitment efforts, liaises closely with the Legal Recruiting team to coordinate on key recruitment and retention efforts. You will connect with key diverse student organizations and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to identify opportunities to support, deepen relationships, and positively impact the pipeline of diverse law students.


You will manage the firm’s Mansfield Rule submission and works to raise awareness with firm leaders and clients, oversee the firm’s participation in and sponsorship of key diversity organizations, conferences, panels, and periodicals. Through research and discussion with organization leaders, works to determine the ROI of participation and sponsorship opportunities and make recommendations to senior leaders. You will perform qualitative assessment of diversity initiatives, assess and analyzes trends, best practices, and issues that need to be addressed and supported, facilitate and craft surveys, as needed, and analyzes/reviews feedback to inform change and next steps. Assists in identifying and tracking metrics for improvement. You will manage budget related to external-facing D&I initiatives and manage the team that coordinates and supports survey responses, sponsorships, and conferences.
