Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline
  • 5 years’ project/production and management of RFP’s in a professional services environment in a management level role
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines

Preferred Requirements:
  • General understanding of the role of business development within a law firm environment
  • Database experience and knowledge of management systems and presentation software
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to recommend and implement solutions

What will your day look like?
A typical day will require you to manage the pitch and proposal response lifecycle from start to finish. This will include organizing and conducting proper kick-off calls, determining response requirements, assigning responsibilities, compiling and organizing information, creating new content, quality control, and ensuring on-time delivery. You will gather intelligence, conduct audience analyses, client/project needs analyses, perception analyses, and additionally be responsible for key message development.

You will collaborate with the marketing team and attorneys to identify, create, and update information to communicate what sets DLA Piper apart from the competition!
