Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- 4 years’ experience in marketing and/or business development experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required to interact with Partners and potential and current clients on a regular basis
- Solid analytical skills to manage a variety of data sources
- Ability to present complex data and research in a clear and concise manner
- Proven writing skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or similar field
- Law firm or professional services organization
What will your day look like?
As a Marketing Analyst you will work closely with practice group leadership to provide assistance in developing and supporting strategies to expand the practice group’s client base and increase the team’s visibility both nationally and internationally. You will also network with clients on a regular basis while developing, managing and coordinating client seminars and webinars. You will participate in event planning to include identifying venue, preparing client invitations, greeting and networking with clients and post-event follow-up. You will research potential clients in regions where Partners travel and schedule meetings with potential clients and/or referred sources. You will also maintain collaborative working relationships with several media publications while working closely with the International Franchise Association and the Georgetown Law Firm Challenge to support the firm’s continued involvement.
Additionally, you will develop and maintain a library of marketing and business development collateral. You will write or assist with writing speeches and articles for publications. You will also research writing and speaking opportunities for attorney participation. You will be responsible for participating and submitting group ranking surveys and actively participating in the pitch and proposal process for the Franchise practice group and/or cross-practice pitches. You will respond to research requests for articles, presentations, and background information on state and country-specific statutes, company filings and general public information on potential companies and clients. You will determine relevancy of information and summarizes. You will collect and develop research resources. You will determine what resources and materials should be stored within the resource library. You will post hard copy resources to database for electronic retrieval review along with creating and maintaining detailed indexes of the practice group’s research materials. You will produce presentations, charts, graphs and/or other visual aids for attorneys as needed. You will develop, maintain and present practice group financials along with track and analyze financial data that compares to actual budget. You will recommend changes to budget as necessary. You will complete other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
The expected annual pay range for this position, if hired to work in New York City is $80,886–$120,322 per year. If hired to work in San Francisco or Palo Alto the expected annual pay range is $84,403-$125,554 per year. If hired to work in Seattle, Los Angeles, or San Diego the expected annual pay range is $77,370-$115,091 per year The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience, and overall qualifications.
