DLA Piper is seeking a mid-level associate to join its fast-paced Corporate practice in Palo Alto or San Francisco office of the largest law firm in the world that provides substantial client contact and practice development and professional growth opportunities.  Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in venture financings, M&A, capital markets or general ’34 Act securities representation. The ideal candidate will have big law firm experience, immediately transferable skills, excellent analytical and writing skills, and strong academic backgrounds from nationally recognized law schools.  The candidate should be a self-starter, highly accountable by nature and a true team player.

Minimum Requirements

 

J.D. from a nationally ranked law school.

3+ years of experience practicing law with a national/international law firm.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Membership in the State Bar as an attorney qualified to practice law in California.
