Paralegal - Corporate
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate
- 3 years’ experience as a corporate & securities paralegal
- Private company experience
- Strong Blue Sky research skills
- Experience with entity formation and qualification
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Preferred Requirements:
- Large firm experience
- Corporate closing experience
- Healthcare experience
What will your day look like?
A typical day will consist of preparing and filing Articles of Incorporation/ Organization, state qualifications, and organizational and related documents. In addition, you will file Amendments, prepare merger documents, perform Form D filings, and prepare and file annual reports in states where corporations are incorporated and/or qualified to do business. You will also be responsible for blue sky filings for private placements and Regulation A offerings. In addition, you will assist with real estate and financing closings.
