Paralegal - Real Estate

What will your day look like?
Your responsibilities will include retrieving documentation as required for real estate transactions. You will order, review, and analyze title commitments, recorded documents and surveys, develop, monitor and update closing and other checklists for real estate transactions. Prepare numerous documents and coordinate execution and delivery of documentation to other parties’, counsel, lenders, governmental agencies, vendors, etc.
- College degree and/or Paralegal certificate
- 3 years of Paralegal experience supporting a Commercial Real Estate practice group
- Mortgage finance experience representing lenders
- Title and survey experience
- Strong skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to interact with staff, attorneys and clients on a daily basis.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail required to handle large volumes of work associated with each case and transaction

- 3 years of experience in a law firm setting

You will also assist with drafting covenants and condominium declarations and related documents for residential, resort, commercial, and mixed use developments. Incorporate non-profit owner associations and prepare articles of incorporation, by-laws, resolutions and consents. You will assist with preparation of tax related applications and work closely with clients to obtain required documentation, reviews and abstracts leases.
