Paralegal Specialist
Minimum Requirements:
- College degree
and/or Paralegal certificate
- 10 years’
experience supporting a Commercial Real Estate practice group in a law
firm environment
- Mortgage finance
experience representing lenders
- Title and survey
experience
- Electronic data
room experience
- Strong proficiency
in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong
organizational and attention to detail
Preferred Requirements:
- Large law firm
experience
- Experience with public/private partnerships, mixed use development and resort development is a plus.
What will your day look like?
You will assist in drafting real estate documents, preparing
closing documents, conducting due diligence reviews and coordinating closings
as required for commercial real estate transactions. This will include
ordering, reviewing and analyzing title commitments, recorded documents and
surveys. You will develop, monitor and update closing, and other checklists,
for real estate transactions.
You will also assist with drafting documents for commercial,
resort and mixed use developments, as well as draft lease amendments for
attorney review. This will require forming L.L.C.s, partnerships and drafting
organizational documents, authority certificates and resolutions. All reporting
and research will be delivered to the appropriate parties’, counsel, lenders,
governmental agencies, vendors, etc.
