Pitch Content Specialist
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in Business Communications, Economics, Finance, Business, or another major that requires substantial research, writing and understanding of at least one business discipline
- 2 years’ of full-time professional experience that includes project management, writing, researching, editing, culling through large amounts of information, and proofreading experience
Preferred Requirements:
- Master’s degree in the above disciplines
- Proficient in editing, researching, and proofreading capabilities
- Strong written and verbal skills with executive presence
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision
- Solid project management and problem-solving skills
- Strong internal client service skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with all types of personalities in a team-oriented environment
What will your day look like?
Your responsibilities will include drafting pitch and proposal materials for the project finance practice group to include international transactions and emerging markets. The tasks will include editing, formatting, and reviewing documents to ensure the final submission is fully compliant with RFP requirements. You will work closely with attorneys’ staff to create content, mine client relationship data, and analyze firm statistics and competitive intelligence. Additionally, you will work closely with various design and communications staff to identify creative new ways to enhance proposal and presentation products. Finally, your research will aim to understand how best to communicate what sets DLA Piper apart from the competition.
