Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years' reception/switchboard experience 
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft office 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Good organization skills and strong attention to detail

Preferred Requirements:
  • 2+ years experience in a law firm or other professional services setting

What will your day look like?
Your responsibilities will include managing the reception desk. You will welcome clients, vendors, and visitors to the office and ensure that our lawyers and staff are aware of their arrival and assist with making their visit to DLA Piper a great experience. You will also be responsible for answering the phone, taking messages, booking conference rooms, handling catering requests, and being the office's main point of contact. 

In addition to managing the reception area, and in collaboration with the legal support teams, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the legal support and practice groups. You will process expense reports, check requests, make travel arrangements, coordinate meetings, edit documents and other administrative tasks.
