Requirements

    • Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, with a specialty in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, especially Natural Language Processing.
    • 3+ years of experience in developing and experimenting with LLMs or related AI/ML technologies.
    • Proficient in Python, with strong experience in using libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
    • Experience with cloud computing infrastructure for AI/ML, especially Azure.
    • Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • PhD in a related field is highly desirable.
    • Experience in the legal domain or working closely with legal professionals.
    • Familiarity with the sociotechnical implications of AI and a nuanced understanding of ethical considerations in AI applications within law.
    • Experience with training and fine-tuning Foundation Models, including multimodal inputs and outputs.
    • Experience with Azure is preferred.

    Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements

    Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

    Pay Transparency

    In accordance with New York, California, Washington Pay Transparency Law, the pay range for this position, if hired to work in New York, California, or Washington, is $150,000-$205,000 per year. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience, and overall qualifications.
