Software Development Engineer II
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Six years programming experience in business systems
- Experience with a modern development platform (Go, Node.js, Python etc.)
- Strong experience with SQL databases, JavaScript skills and experience with at least one major JavaScript framework
- Proficient with HTML and CSS to create high-quality user interfaces
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Strong TSQL scripting abilities and understanding of complex stored procedures, views, data aggregation/manipulation through table joins/queries, database design, normalization and de-normalization techniques
- BI Development Experience using Microsoft Stack (SSIS,SSAS, SSRS, Power BI)
- Demonstrated experience in data extraction and manipulation, ETL/ELT techniques
What will your day look like?
You will participate in developing, implementing and maintaining Tabular Data Models and Data Warehousing solutions.
You will provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms. Additionally, you will lead software installations and application upgrade projects and when directed research new technologies, advancements and industry improvements in order to stay abreast of the latest developments to enhance the success of the firm.
