Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • 3 years of administrative experience
  • Basic Excel skills as well as experience with Word and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to establish effective and collegial working relationships
  • Comfortable handling complex details


Preferred Requirements:

  • Some college coursework in accounting or finance
  • E-billing experience
  • Billing experience
  • Experience with tracking, organizing and maintaining databases


What will your day look like?

You will assist with electronic billing implementations for setup in Elite/Aderant and e-billing vendor sites. You will review Weekly Timekeeper Alerts for set-up on e-billing vendor sties, follow tracking protocol for e-bill client implementations to ensure approvals and requirements completion.


You will communicate frequently via phone and/or email with clients, staff, and attorneys.


You will develop proficiency with local accounting systems (Elite Enterprise, Aderant, Metastorm, ServiceNow) and various e-billing vendor sites (such as Tymetrix, Serengeti, CounselLink, BillingPoint, Ascent).  You will assist with invoice rejections in eBillingHub or BillBlast portal which are the result of technical or formatting issues, as will as assisting with basic process of client implementations for larger e-billing vendor sites such as Serengeti, Tymetrix, CounselLink, DataCert, and Collaborati.

 

You will conduct validation testing for initial e-bill submissions for newly e-billed clients to ensure compliance of client billing guidelines, review training needs for Billing team on new e-bill clients and sites, conducts training, prepare training documentation. You will review insurance e-billing setups, including 3rd party payer matters.  Confer with billing timekeepers to ensure they are informed of billing requirements to ensure compliance.


You will review updated Outside Counsel Billing Guidelines from existing e-billed clients; disseminate updates that change current billing practices to Billing team to ensure new guidelines are followed. You will set up new users who need access to new client e-bill vendor sites.  May provide training on navigation as needed.
