Sr Docketing/Audit Specialist
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma
- 5 years' trademark prosecution experience
- Experience and thorough knowledge of docketing systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of both foreign and domestic trademark prosecution rules
- Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience and thorough knowledge of CPI
What will your day look like?
As a Sr. Docketing Specialist - Trademark, you will docket, audit, and digitally enter all incoming/outgoing correspondence pertaining to trademark prosecution, as well as manage new case intake from mail, email, and faxes. You will monitor document deadlines and remove completed cases from docket. You will also track TTAB matters and docket deadlines in dispute proceedings.
Other responsibilities will include running reports for enforcement and prosecution as well as for internal docket meetings and client information.
You will act as a liaison between Foreign Associates and the attorney/secretary, as well as back-up to department secretary in foreign related matters/filings. You will also request estimates for filing patent applications abroad and input database records for both foreign and domestic cases.
You will be responsible for reviewing and maintaining USPTO monthly deposit accounts when necessary. You will also process requests to transfer cases in and out of the Firm, including updating the database and generating transfer reports.
