The Accounting team is a collaborative and talented team of finance and accounting professionals who help the firm make business decisions by providing accurate and actionable financial information.


The team ensures the accuracy of the firm’s financial records and provides insight and recommendations on the financial position of the firm to senior leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • 3 years of administrative experience  
  • Basic Excel skills as well as experience with Word and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to establish effective and collegial working relationships
  • Comfortable handling complex details

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Some college coursework in accounting or finance
  • E-billing experience
  • Billing experience
  • Experience with tracking, organizing and maintaining databases

 

What will your day look like? 
You will provide daily e-Billing administrative support ensuring the successful setup of initial client electronic billing information or transitioning this information from one system to another.  You will assist with resolving and troubleshooting e-billed rejections related to technical or format issues versus billing-related issues.  This role requires a high degree of interaction with business professionals.


You will assist with electronic billing implementations for set up in Elite and e-billing vendor sites. Review weekly timekeeper alerts for set-up on e-billing vendor sites. You will follow tracking protocol for e-bill client implementations to ensure completion of approvals and requirements. Additionally, you will develop proficiency with local accounting systems (Elite Enterprise, Metastorm) and various e-billing vendor sites (such as Tymetrix and Serengeti).  You will also communicate frequently via email with clients, staff and attorneys.
