Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
  • 8 years’ marketing/business development experience in a professional services environment
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong research, writing, communication, presentation, and data analysis skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with RFP process
  • Strong client service orientation and project management
  • Ability to generate immediate credibility with local PIMMs and firm attorneys

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Graduate degree
  • Previous sales/marketing experience

 

What will your day look like?
As a Sr. Manager – Marketing, you will identify, drive, and oversee new business development opportunities and marketing initiatives to achieve the revenue growth objectives of the firm.

You will develop strategies for practice group growth and expansion of new and existing client relationships. You will supervise and manage a team of sales support professionals assigned to practice groups. You will mentor and provide professional guidance and direction on a regular basis. You will manage/oversee RFP process from inception to completion.

Additional responsibilities will be to identify new business opportunities and current trends in the marketplace to develop new business prospects. You will create and maintain appropriate templates in System to include call reports, proposal structure, direct mail, email campaign, bios, intros for events, etc. You will create and customize sales materials for presentations/meetings. You will also develop and execute marketing/business development strategies, plans, and projects. You will assist in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities and targets, facilitating cross-selling initiatives, and participating on client-specific target teams. You will ensure global and national marketing initiatives are being executed at the local office level. You will manage local events, sponsorship activities, advertisements, speaking engagements, and similar activities. You will manage the local office marketing budget, analyze data and generate reports as necessary. You will also assist in maintaining the sales pipeline and supporting deal/case tracking.
