Trademark Docketing Specialist

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma
• 3 years' Trademark experience
• Experience and thorough knowledge of docketing systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of both foreign and domestic trademark prosecution rules
• Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and project management skills

 
Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in docketing system CPI

 
What will your day look like?
As a Docketing Specialist, you will docket, review and enter into the system all incoming/outgoing correspondence, as well as manage new case intake from mail, email, and faxes. You will review document deadlines and remove completed cases from docket. You will also track annuity fee deadlines, request payment instructions from clients, provide payment instructions to annuity service. You will review invoices for accuracy, client billing numbers, and forward them to Accounts Payable, and create reports.
 
Other responsibilities will include reviewing request letters and forwards to the audit paralegal as necessary, completing the checklist form and updates the audit letter calendar daily, pulling files, or request a new file folder on the record database.
