This position will sit in our Austin, Texas office. This role is hybrid with an in-office requirement of 2-3 days per week.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma
- 3 years’ experience in a professional services environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Strong communication skills as well as strong writing, proofreading and editing skills
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated
- Ability to prioritize changing demands and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, English or related field
- Prior law firm or related, transferrable professional services experience
- High-energy and curious self-starter with a focus on quality product production and client service delivery
- Strong organizational and project management skills
What will your day look like?
As part of the Market Engagement team, you will collaborate with firm lawyers and other marketing team members to support select marketing and business development activities that amplify the visibility and favorability of the firm’s brand and its lawyer nationwide. You will support the regional marketing manager team with events, sponsorships and other client-development and client-nurturing activities; develop regionally-focused content for newsletters, brochures and pitches; assist with marketing budgets, invoices and tracking of both; support regional legal directory submissions in partnership with practice and sector marketing teams; and provide other project assistance for marketing as needed, including coordination with other support groups including the operations and hospitality teams. As needed, you will support various other marketing and business development initiatives.
